Lighthouse international School curriculum

Our Curriculum

Lighthouse School follows the Cambridge International curriculum. The Cambridge International curriculum is a globally recognised education, by universities and employers worldwide.

Cambridge is flexible allowing learners to make choices that suit their strengths and abilities. The curriculum not only challenges learners, but inspires them too.

The Cambridge curriculum allows learners to develop an informed curiosity and a life long passion for learning, while gaining the necessary skills they need for success at university and in their future careers.

Cambridge is followed in over 160 countries and is internationally current and relevant with constant updates being done to the content and methods of assessment. It is a culturally sensitive curriculum.

Cambridge also allows students to tailor subject choice to their interests, allowing students the opportunity to pursue subjects such as; psychology, mechanics or chemistry.

Lighthouse School is a registered and recognised exam centre for Cambridge international students, with a fully equipped science laboratory which allows us to offer all the practical components of the curriculum.

Our science laboratory is fully equipped and all experiments are done there with qualified teachers. It is an interactive atmosphere and everyone has fun together. There is a fume cupboard so we can do advanced experiments under controlled conditions.
